Jeff Fly made a great article in AST newletter about Inattentional Blindness phenomenon (the phenomenon of just plain not seeing something obvious because our attention is focused on something else) and explained what does it mean for us as testers. That reminds me of ways to mitigate blindness effects in testing. Here pair testing, pair programming, perspective variane and James Bach’s “Heuristic Test Strategy Model” comes into play.
